Office Systems

On January 13th 1995, I started Automated Business Machines, specializing in
the service of copiers, printers, fax machines, and scanners. I have since
changed the name of the company to ABM Office Systems. There have been
many ups and downs throughout the years. Within four years I went from
operating out of my home, offering only service, to opening a shop here in
Plymouth Ma, expanding the company to selling both new and used systems,
maintaining peer to peer and server based networks, as well as hiring three
employees. In 2008 we experienced an economic downturn that forced us to
consider closing. Rather than close, we restructured our business plan. While
our plans are to open another location in the very near future, I am contacting
you to let you know that, our business plan has not only worked to continue
serving our existing base for over 20 years, but also to serve some of our
competitors base! ABM Office Systems has served as a subcontractor to seven
different Nationally known companies, as well as five locally owned companies
(sorry, I can't tell you who they are due to contract obligations)! In addition, I am
contacting you to let you know that, in celebration of our 20th anniversary, we
are offering our service rates, for the entire month of February, at the original
price in 1995!!!! Yes you can call us for the entire month of February and get
our original pricing structure at $75 per hour!!! As most of you know, copier or
MFP (Multi Functional Printer) services average around $150 per hour, which is
higher than our current rate of $139. While we understand, that not all of our
customers will necessarily have a need for service in the month of February, we
are suggesting that you call us for a routine cleaning/inspection at the 1995
rate. We will clean and inspect your system to ensure that it will operate at peak
performance, as well as advise you of some possible needed service in the
coming months. If you choose to have the potential problems addressed in
February, you pay only the 1995 service rate plus the current cost of parts!
